Specialty Pipeline Services (SPS) is approved by the New York State Department of Health (NYSDOH) as a Backflow Training Provider to provide initial and renewal backflow prevention device tester certification courses. The main location is in Elmsford, NY. SPS can also deliver a fully mobile training center and can have training courses at your location if needed. SPS is offering the standard 32-hr initial certification course as well as the 8-hr recertification course.

Initial course is $950 per person. Recertification is $450 per person.

The course consists of assisting participants in many different aspects of figuring out the issues that can occur during a normal test with double check valve and RPZ assemblies. We will be learning/working visual and hands-on. The learning and practicing in the wet lab will help understand the field testing methods.
